ATLANTA — Crews began working on the latest Atlanta BeltLine section to connect more metro neighborhoods.

Mayor Andre Dickens along with other city leaders broke ground Monday on parts of the southside trail.
Segments four and five will cut through Glenwood Park, Grant Park, Ormewood Park, and Boulevard Heights connecting neighborhoods from Glenwood Avenue to Boulevard,

The section will add more than a mile to the main Atlanta BeltLine loop. It will also provide access routes for residents and visitors north and south of I-20.
