ATLANTA — Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department asked the public to help locate a “critically missing” 12-year-old that was last seen leaving for school.
Atlanta Public Schools says 12-yaer-old Janari Morrison finished the school day at Young Middle School on Tuesday and got on the bus to head home, but that was the last time he was seen.

His mother told police that she spoke to a teacher at his school and was told that he got in trouble and was told to leave the class.
It is unclear where Morrison went after getting kicked out of class.
Atlanta Public Schools released a statement Wednesday morning saying their police department is investigating Morrison’s disappearance.

Morrison is four foot ten inches and 90 pounds. He was last seen wearing glasses, a gold shirt and blue pants.
Anyone with information regarding Morrison’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or APS police at 404-802-2000.
