ATLANTA — Dating apps have become the norm in meeting new people since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Whether it's Tinder, Plenty of Fish, Zoosk or Match, people are connecting more often virtually.
Now, Bumble has another way for people to connect, with benches that provide enough space to meet someone and still social distance at the same time.
Channel 2′s Alison Mastrangelo came across one of the benches while out walking her dog Tuesday morning.
The bright yellow bench had two seats that were six feet apart and included a hand sanitzer dispenser.
Printed on the bench it says, “I need space — but only like 6 feet.”
A sign attached to the hand sanitzer dispenser says, “Bumble is a connections app that’s all about creating safe, equal and healthy connections.”
Welcome to dating in the time of COVID-19.
