DECATUR, Ga. — DeKalb police have identified a suspect in the shooting of an 11-year-old boy at a skating rink last week.
Police said the suspect is not yet in custody, and they have not released a name.

On April 9, police responded to Golden Glide Skating Rink after responding to a report of a person shot.
D’Mari Johnson was shot in the back of the head. The child remains in critical condition in an induced coma and fighting for his life.

On Monday, the Johnson family’s attorneys announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. They also said they blamed the skating rink for not providing adequate security.
The case is still under investigation.
A GoFundMe set up to help the family with medical expenses has raised more than $6,500.
