Once the shot rang out, thousands of people inside the airport began running for exits. The airport was shut down while police and TSA officers investigated the incident. It has since reopened.

Delta says passengers affected by this incident will not have to pay the difference in fares to reschedule their flights if they are traveling by November 23.
