ATLANTA — The train at a MARTA station in downtown Atlanta is running on delays on Friday morning after a person was hit.
MARTA officials say a train heading north at Garnett Station hit a person around 5 a.m. The severity of that person’s injuries is unclear.

Police are currently investigating the crash.
Bus transportation was being provided from Oakland City to Five Points.
Officials say there are delays on the red and gold lines.

There is no word on when the train may be back up and running.
