ATLANTA — Atlanta’s beloved Dragon Con Parade is back this year -- but with some big changes.
Dragon Con 2021 runs from Sept. 2 to Sept. 6 with events at five hotels in downtown Atlanta.

The spectacle of cosplay actors showcasing their favorite superheroes and sci-fi characters on Peachtree Street is one of the con’s biggest events, attracting over 75,000 spectators.

While the parade is usually open to the public, this year, organizers said that only people with Dragon Con tickets will be allowed to watch the parade in person. And, unlike previous years, single-day tickets to the con are not being sold.
Organizers said the parade will also be scaled back with fewer participants.

All five hotels hosting Dragon Con as well as AmericasMart will have stepped up security at all hours to ensure that only ticketholders will have access to the convention.
