ATLANTA — Dramatic video shows bullets flying during a shootout at a gas station in southwest Atlanta.
A woman got caught in the crossfire when two people opened fire around 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Texaco station on Lee Street in Atlanta’s Oakland City neighborhood.
The video shows a man get out of his car at a gas pump when a second man, who police said had a gun in his waistband, approaches and confronts him.
The first man walks back to his car and pulls out an AK-style pistol.

The second man quickly reacts, reaching for his gun and diving for cover.
The first man then points the large gun over the roof of the car at the second man, who sits on the ground with his hand up, apparently pleading. %

The man on the ground then moves to the front of the car where he fires three shots, all of which hit the windshield.
The shootout continues, at one point hitting a female passenger in the car in the shoulder.
One man runs away, while the other goes inside with the girl to call 911.
Several surveillance cameras at the gas station captured the entire incident.
Atlanta police and their gun reduction unit are actively working the case. They said they are talking with witnesses and have talked to the driver who fired back. They are also analyzing the video.
