Falcons draft offensive tackle Matthew Bergeron with 38th overall NFL Draft pick

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Falcons have drafted offensive tackle Matthew Bergeron in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Bergeron, a 23-year-old from Canada who spent three seasons playing for Syracuse University, is the Falcons’ second pick in the draft.

Atlanta drafted running back Bijan Robinson as the eighth overall pick in the first round on Thursday night.

Klein spoke with Robinson moments after his name was called.

“It’s a special moment. I get to bring myself to Atlanta. It’s such a great city. It’s a great place to be and I know that there’s so much history there. I want to be a part of that and be part of that great team they are building up right now,” Robinson said.
