ATLANTA — The celebration of life for Kirsnick Khari Ball, known to the world as Takeoff, has been announced and fans in Atlanta will have the chance to pay their respects.
There will be a special celebration of life for Ball on Friday, Nov. 11 at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena at 12 p.m.

Tickets will be available on Tuesday, Nov. 8 beginning at 2 p.m. Only Georgia residents will be able to get a maximum of two free tickets via Ticketmaster. You must be a Georgia register to reserve tickets. The passcode is your Georgia zip code.
Tickets are non-transferable and parties must enter the venue together.
Doors will open beginning at 11 a.m. and guests are asked to arrive early. State Farm Arena is offering free parking for ticketed guests in the Ruby Lot at 100 Baker Street Extension, Atlanta, GA 30303, until the lot reaches capacity.
Due to the limited capacity, officials are asking that fans who do not have a ticket to the homegoing celebration, to not come downtown.

The public memorial has a strict no-photo and no-video policy. All devices will be secured in Yondr pouches prior to entering the arena.
No gifts or items will be permitted to be left at or near the venue.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers or gifts, all donations should be made to The Rocket Foundation, which was recently established to support programs that save lives through proven, community-based solutions to prevent gun violence. Click here to make a donation.

Takeoff was shot and killed at a Houston bowling alley last week. According to a report from the Houston County Coroner’s Office, he was shot in the head and torso before he died outside the business.
Police said they don’t believe Takeoff was directly involved in the fight.
No arrests have been made in the rapper’s shooting death.
