ATLANTA — A school was put on lockdown after a fight on campus led to a threat on social media.
The incident happened Tuesday at Booker T. Washington High School in southwest Atlanta.
A mother said her daughter got into a fight with another girl. The mother said the other girl got her brother and went on Facebook Live to threaten her daughter with a gun.
Screenshots show they claimed things were going to get "deadly" and wrote "I'll kill you" in one post.
There was a lockdown at the school.
"Everyone was scared. They didn't let us leave the class when we got in there," student Mikesha Thomas said.

Atlanta Public Schools said in a statement:
"The APS police department is investigating the altercation, including allegations of threats on social media following the incident."
Students said lockdowns are happening almost every day and believe it will continue because fight and threats tend to pick up at the end of the year.
"I guess because they feel like, 'Oh, we're about to be out of school. It's a perfect time to start some drama in the building,'" Thomas said.
The mother said while this was happening, she called 911 to get some help for her daughter, but when they transferred her to APS police, she couldn't get through on multiple occasions.
APS said Atlanta police did try to transfer the mother's calls, but said APS police called right back and couldn't get the mother on the phone.
