Atlanta-based Cumulus Media sold 106.7 in 2019, and Stockton moved to to become a producer for daily radio show “Crime Stories with Nancy Grace,” which airs on Sirius XM.

Family members told the AJC that Stockton had recently had her gallbladder removed and was having liver problems. She also had recently recovered from COVID-19, according to her Facebook page.

“I’ve had to completely lose all sense of pride. I’m back in the hospital. I can’t sit up or down or walk on my own. They don’t think it’s any complication from the gallbladder surgery, but they’re not sure ... is going on. All I know is major pain, and I’m going to be here for a while. Prayers please!”
