The couple got local company Sole Photography to do a "drive-by" photoshoot and held the ceremony in their yard, complete with a the TP cake, stuffed animals for guests and a kiddie pool as their own private beach.
Neighbors celebrated with them by watching from their porches.
"Thank you WSBTV for always shedding so much light," Jessica Wiedner wrote. "We got a ton of ideas from everything that has been posted with birthday parties, etc., that we were able to make this moment happen with a local photographer. Hope this gives y’all a laugh!"
Wiedner said she hopes the couple's experience inspires other people who've had to cancel plans to make the best of it.
“We exchanged vows and our official wedding date will always be 3/27!” Wiedner said. “Maybe it will inspire another couple in the same situation to try and have some fun.”
