ATLANTA — Police said a girl is dead following a crash on the downtown connector Monday night.
The Georgia State Patrol reported a juvenile girl was ejected from a Ford Ranger that had overturned.
GSP stated that when the trooper arrived at the crash, he began giving first aid to the child until Emergency Medical Service crews could get there.

The girl was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she died from her injuries.
The other people inside the SUV were also taken to Grady with non-life-threatening injuries.
The SUV was the only vehicle involved in the wreck. There is no word on what caused the crash.
