CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — The same cancellation and delay problems that have haunted holiday travelers over the past two weeks continue as the holiday season quickly winds to a close.
Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport issued an advisory for anyone traveling through “The World’s Busiest Airport” on Sunday hoping to warn people both arriving and departing to pack their patience and be ready for a long wait.
🚨Alert: With high passenger volume, potential weather issues, and possible staffing impacts we expect increased security wait times today and Mon. Please arrive at least 2.5 hours prior to your scheduled departure time, and 3 hours early if you require special assistance.
