ATLANTA — The game between the Atlanta Hawks and the Houston Rockets scheduled for this afternoon has been postponed by the National Basketball Association.
The game was planned to take place today at State Farm Arena.
The NBA said the decision was made after speaking with local officials to “prioritize the safety of the players, fans, and staff due to severe weather and hazardous icy conditions in the Atlanta area.”

A date for the rescheduled game has not yet been announced.
