ATLANTA — Several metro Atlanta school districts have returned to in-person learning amid the surge of the Delta variant in Georgia.
Of the districts that have released case numbers publicly, there have been 1,454 new cases of COVID-19 reported since the beginning of the school year just last week.

Some districts were reporting hundreds of new COVID-19 infections just days into the school year.
