Akon said his cell phone was inside the SUV and that he was using “Find My iPhone” to track the SUV. According to the app, the SUV was in Forest Park. That’s where police later found it.
Akon told police that he had some expensive items inside his SUV including a diamond necklace valued at $25,000, thousands of dollars’ worth of Louis Vuitton luggage and his passport.
