Human remains found in Atlanta neighborhood

ATLANTA — Homicide detectives are on the scene after skeletal remains were found in a southeast Atlanta neighborhood.

Officers were called to 543 Burroughs St. SE around 1 p.m. Monday where they discovered the remains.

The cause of death is unknown.

NewsChopper2 was over the scene Monday as detectives investigated.
