ATLANTA — Police are investigating after a man taking photographs of graffiti by railroad tracks in Atlanta found a human skull.
The man discovered the skull near the train tracks at North Avenue and Northside Drive around 12:32 a.m. Tuesday.

Police called the Fulton County Medical Examiner, who confirmed the skull was human. Police said no other human remains were found in the surrounding area.
The Medical Examiner took possession of the skull to investigate further, but no other information is currently available.

Channel 2′s Audrey Washington was at the scene Tuesday, where she talked to Sikeithia Yher, who owns a business nearby.
“That’s kind of scary,” Yher said.
Police canvassed the nearby areas for more details but didn’t find much to go on. They hope the Fulton County medical examiner can provide more information.
