ATLANTA — Thousands of Georgians gathered to protest President Donald Trump’s executive actions that they say discriminate against Muslim legal residents, visa holders and refugees seeking shelter in the United States.

Protesters gathered at the Redeemer Lutheran Church Saturday to support refugees fleeing violence and to stand in solidarity with Muslims living in Georgia.

The interfaith group is urging local lawmakers to ensure that Muslims and refugees of all faiths will continue to be warmly welcomed in Georgia.
