Investigators searching for person of interest in arson at popular restaurant

ATLANTA — A fire that destroyed a popular Atlanta restaurant earlier this month has been ruled as arson.

Las Margaritas on Cheshire Bridge caught fire around dinner time on Aug. 9. It took nearly 30 firefighters to put out the flames, but luckily no one was injured.

It caused extensive damage to the Latin restaurant, which has been in the same location for more than two decades.

On Tuesday, investigators released photos of a person of interest in the arson. They also announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and arson conviction in the case.
