ATLANTA — A Fulton County judge has moved the bond hearing for one of the Atlanta police officers who shot and killed Rayshard Brooks because the hearing was supposed to happen on the same day as Brooks’ funeral.
Brooks’ funeral is set for 1 p.m. Tuesday and the original bond hearing for former officer Garrett Rolfe was supposed to take place at 2 p.m. at the Fulton County Courthouse.
Monday, a judge allowed the bond hearing to be moved to another day, and was taken off the court docket for this week.

The order said the attorneys for Rolfe can contact the court administrator’s office to reschedule the hearing.
A public visitation was held for Brooks on Monday, where hundreds of people were able to say their final goodbyes to man that many of them had never met.
His death sparked days of protest and led to the resignation of Atlanta’s police chief.
Officer Devin Brosnan is being charged with aggravated assault and two violations of oath of office.
Rolfe’s attorney said he had no comment about the hearing being moved.
