ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department are investigating after a juvenile was shot Friday morning.
Police say around 2:23 a.m., they responded to 3337 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in southwest Atlanta for a person shot call.
The juvenile told police he was walking from the store, cut through a parking lot, and noticed a vehicle with individuals sitting inside.

The vehicle was not moving, according to police. The victim told police the individuals inside of the vehicle began shooting at him.
The victim was shot, but it is unclear where. He was taken to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

Law enforcement officials responded to the scene but were unable to establish a crime scene.
Police say their investigation is ongoing.
