ATLANTA — The Fulton County special purpose grand jury continued its investigation Tuesday into potential criminal interference in Georgia’s 2020 election, though two key witnesses continue to fight their subpoenas to testify.
The grand jury is scheduled to meet two more times this week as it examined several aspects of potential criminal interference, including South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham’s two alleged phone calls to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
In court documents, officials said Graham wanted Raffensperger to “reexamine” some mail-in ballots in an effort to throw the election to former President Donald Trump.

Graham is fighting the subpoena in Washington, D.C. courts.
Sources confirm to Channel 2′s Richard Elliot that Rudy Giuliani is also fighting his subpoena, though the Manhattan district attorney’s office decline to comment.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney declared Graham a “necessary and material witness” for the grand jury to hear.
Other state officials are scheduled to testify later this week.
