ATLANTA — Live Nation announced Friday that all its venues and events will require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.
The entertainment company owns Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood, Buckhead Theatre, the Coca-Cola Roxy in Cobb County, the Tabernacle and Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta.

Live Nation also hosts Music Midtown, which announced last week that it will operate under the same requirements.

The company also will require all employees to be fully vaccinated by Oct. 4.
Last month, 400,000 people packed Lollapalooza in Chicago under the same vaccine/testing requirements. Around 90% of them were vaccinated.

Organizers said the festival was a huge success that resulted in just over 200 cases of COVID-19.
Other venues in Atlanta owned by AEG will operate under even stricter COVID-19 protocols. Terminal West, Variety Playhouse and the new Eastern music venue in Reynoldstown will only allow people who have been vaccinated inside.
