ATLANTA — Channel 2 Action News has learned a police chase ended along Interstate 85 near the airport.
There is a large police presence near Central Avenue and I-85 where the chase ended.
The Coweta County Sheriff’s Office said it started in their county.
Investigators say a deputy tried to pull over a car on I-85 North in Coweta County.

The car initially stopped, then sped away as the deputy walked up to the vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators say the car reached speeds of 130 mph. The driver fired at least two shots at deputies during the chase, according to the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.
It all ended at the Sylvan Road exit near Atlanta’s airport. Law enforcement took the driver into custody without further incident.
The GBI was called in to investigate. The driver faces several charges from multiple jurisdictions.
