Man caught on camera shooting a man, riding away on a scooter, police say

ATLANTA — Police are searching for a man who was caught on camera getting into a fight with another man on the streets of Atlanta before pulling out a gun and shooting him.

Officers say they were called to 100 Pine St. just before 4 p.m. on July 30 in reference to someone being shot. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition. His current condition is unknown.

Police are now releasing surveillance video of the incident that shows the suspect ride up on an e-scooter near a man who walks out of the frame.

The victim then jumps back into the frame, lunging at the unidentified suspect. The suspect then pulls out a gun and fires a shot before getting back on the scooter and riding away.

CrimeStoppers of Greater Atlanta is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information regarding this shooting.
