Man dead after shooting outside northwest Atlanta store

ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating a shooting outside a store that left one man dead.

Officers were called to the 600 block of Joseph E. Boone Boulevard just before 6:45 p.m. Monday evening.

Police say on the scene they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators are working to learn what led up to the shooting.

Police have not yet released the man’s identity.
