ATLANTA — On December 10, the City of South Fulton Police Department reported a man missing who was last seen on Dec. 7.
The Atlanta Police Department found the victim, 83-year-old Billie Coot Carmichael dead on Wednesday after responding to a person down call at 3646 Hogan Drive in southwest Atlanta.

Officials say they responded to the location just before 2 p.m. when they found Carmichael.
South Fulton Police say Carmichael suffered from dementia and had reportedly been missing for several days. Before he was found deceased in Atlanta, Carmichael was last seen at 6675 Hidden Brook Trail in South Fulton.
