ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating a shooting outside a popular Atlanta club that has left one man dead.
Police say they were called to The Blue Flame Lounge on Harwell Road in reference to shots being fired at 1 a.m.
Officers on the scene found that a man, approximately 25 years old, had been shot. He died from his injuries.

Atlanta homicide commander Lt. Ralph Woolfolk said a fight inside the club spewed over into the parking lot. Investigators are sorting through evidence.
“We are working through early stages of the investigation but we do have several vehicles in the parking lot we are looking at this time,” Woolfolk said.
The victim’s identity has not been released. Police have not released any information on possible suspects.
This is not the first time a shooting has happened outside the Blue Flame.
In Feb. 2021, three men were shot at the lounge. Witnesses said a car drove up in front of the club and fired several shots. In Feb. 2020, a man was found dead on the sidewalk near the club.
In May 2018, two private security officers were shot inside the club after they escorted a group of club patrons out for inappropriate behavior.
