Man shot while leaving Lenox Square Mall, police say

ATLANTA — Atlanta police are searching for a shooter who reportedly shot a man who was leaving Lenox Square Mall Monday afternoon.

Officers were called to Grady Memorial Hospital at 6 p.m. after a man arrived at the hospital in private vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim told officers that he had been shot at Lenox Square Mall.

Investigators learned that the man was exiting the mall when he was shot. The alleged shooter reportedly got into a dark colored sedan and drove away.

The condition of the victim is not known at this time.

Police have not yet identified the shooter.
