ATLANTA — A day after streetcar operations resume for MARTA in the wake of a winter storm, service will again pause. The suspension was previously announced in December.

According to MARTA, the streetcar service will be suspended from Jan. 13 to Jan. 17 so Georgia Power can make emergency repairs to a site on Carnegie Way.

While the streetcar service is paused, MARTA shuttle vans will run with a special wrap to look like the streetcar along its normal route.

While Georgia Power works on Carnegie Way, MARTA said contracts with the City of Atlanta and other utility companies will also work on repairs and adjustments nearby.

On Jan. 18, streetcar service is expected to start again at 8:15 a.m.
