ATLANTA — No one won the Mega Millions jackpot on Tuesday night, so that means it has rolled over yet again and is now over a billion dollars.
At $1.15 billion, it’s the fifth-largest Mega Millions jackpot ever.
If the winner chooses a cash payout that equates to approximately $516.1 million.

The next drawing will be on Friday, Dec. 27.
There have been 29 consecutive drawings since someone won the Mega Millions jackpot on September 10 when the jackpot was $810 million.
You can catch the Mega Millions drawing LIVE just before WSB Tonight at 11 p.m. on Channel 2 each Tuesday and Friday.
In Georgia, winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prizes. The most recent jackpot winner from Georgia was the $478.2 million Powerball jackpot in October.
The Georgia Lottery Corp. has made significant contributions to the state’s educational programs, returning over $28.3 billion since its inception.
More than 2.1 million students have benefited from HOPE scholarships, and over 2 million 4-year-olds have participated in the voluntary prekindergarten program statewide.
