Mega Millions: What would you do if you won $660 million?

ATLANTA — The Mega Millions jackpot is now $660 million!

It is the third largest jackpot in mega millions history.

The winning numbers for Friday night’s drawing were 60, 66, 14, 40, 64, and the Mega Ball was 16. The Megaplier was 3.

Channel 2’s Kristen Holloway went out to DeKalb county to find out what would people do with all that money.

Whether you are buying a shiny new Lamborghini or a new house, lottery players say they are not missing out on a chance to win more than $660 million from the mega millions.

So they are buying lottery tickets before Friday night’s drawing.

Calvin Matthews has a strategy. First, he only plays when they lottery is big.

“After a good hundred million then I play. $35 million? No I want a $100 million at least,” Matthews said.

Then he makes sure to follow through with his lottery traditions.

“I got my Captain America shirt on and I play the same numbers, believe or not I wear this when it gets big,” he said.

And when he says big, Matthews means big. If you decided to take the lump sum from the $660 million, you will walk away with over $388 million dollars.

Both Calvin Matthews and Jason Bonnick say they would share with family if they won.

“I feel lucky tonight. I can take care my whole family with this, put my kids through college,” Matthews said.

“Initially to take care of my family then beyond that I want to really devote some of that money to charity,” Bonnick said.

And of course Channel 2′s Kristen Holloway could not pass up the chance to become millionaire, after all it is the third largest in mega millions history.
