ATLANTA, Ga. — Goodwill announced Tuesday that it would be closing 25 donation centers in metro Atlanta. The centers slated to close are scattered north, south, east and west of Atlanta.
The donation centers are scheduled to close on Oct. 1, 2020. The silver lining in this discount shopping cloud is that they will only be closed temporarily.

Representatives for Goodwill said the closure was needed for two reasons: the centers needed time to process the large amounts of recent donations and will also use this time to prepare for year-end closeouts and the upcoming holiday season.
The closed donation centers will all reopen soon to the public. During the closure, it is requested that no donations be left at the temporarily closed locations.
