Witnesses told the officers who responded to the call that Thomas and the two victims got into some sort of argument at the house. The witnesses say at some point, the argument turned physical, people at the house began to leave and the fight moved out to the street.

The witnesses say Thomas pulled a gun during the fight and that’s when the shooting happened.

One man was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital by bystanders with a gunshot wound to the stomach. Police say Thomas transported the other victim to the hospital himself.
