ATLANTA — A group of protestors with a powerful message rallied Saturday in downtown Atlanta.
They said they want Russian President Vladimir Putin to stop killing Ukrainian children.
Channel 2′s Justin Carter found out how mothers and young children in Atlanta are getting involved.

There have been weeks of rallies at the corner of Centennial Olympic Park Drive and Marietta Street, but this one hits a little different. Protestors held wrapped up baby dolls, symbolic of children dying in war in Ukraine.
Protestors like Bianca White from Woodstock said they have been horrified by what’s happening to children in Ukraine.
“The legacy of a grandparent is to do stuff like this, not just bake cookies,” White said.

She spent her Saturday with a group called “Mothers March,” rallying with dozens in downtown Atlanta.
Her 7-year-old granddaughter Lorelei was by her side holding a a sign that said, “stop dropping bombs on kids like me.”
At least 109 Ukrainian children have been killed in the war against Russia. At least 130 have been injured, and those are just preliminary numbers.
Olga Gorman, who just moved to Atlanta from Kyiv six months ago, said it’s up to adults to stand up for children who have nothing to do with the war.

“Our soldiers work so well, but we just don’t have enough weapons to close our sky,” she said. “I can’t sleep. I can’t eat. I just feel like every day they are killing Ukrainians without any reason.”
Organizers said they want people to reach out to the White House and local representatives and donate anything they can to people in Ukraine.
