ATLANTA — Music Midtown is hosting a vaccine clinic with a pretty sweet incentive: a free weekend pass to the festival.
Music Midtown has partnered with the City of Atlanta, Fulton County, the Community Organized Relief Effort and Emory Outbreak Response Team to host the clinic, which happens Sept. 5 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Piedmont Park.
Guests who get vaccinated will get a free weekend pass to Music Midtown on Sept. 18 and 19, while supplies last. Tickets are subject to availability and are first come, first serve.

Music Midtown has not said how many tickets they plan to give out.
“Vaccines are safe, and the best way to protect our families, friends and neighbors,” said Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms. “We are grateful for responsible partners like Live Nation who are helping in our fight against COVID-19.”
Vaccines will be available at two locations in Piedmont Park on Sunday. A walk-up only site will be located north of the meadow on Charles Allen Drive. The other site will be on the Promenade, where walk-ups will be accepted, but guests are encouraged to register for an appointment HERE.

Medical professionals will be administering the Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. All guests and employees must wear a mask while onsite.
“This is a great opportunity for fans who haven’t been able to get vaccinated to come out, and also have the chance to attend Music Midtown for free this year,” said Peter Conlon, President of Atlanta for Live Nation. “We have seen that vaccines are the best way for us to continue to come together. Let’s take care of each other and ensure we can keep the music going.”

Music Midtown is requiring all attendees of the festival this year to be fully vaccinated or show a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours (three days) of first attending, so participants getting vaccinated this Sunday would still need to show a negative COVID-19 test for entrance to Music Midtown with their free ticket.
