ATLANTA — The city of Atlanta has lifted Sunday night’s 8 p.m. curfew following another night of peaceful protests.
Atlanta police told Channel 2 Action News they made no arrests Friday night or Saturday night. Today will mark the 10th day of protests across the metro area.

Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms previously issued a curfew on May 30 and kept one in place through Friday night. Saturday night’s curfew was also canceled.

Channel 2’s Audrey Washington was at a demonstration downtown Saturday where protesters told her they plan to continue to gather and march for days—maybe even months—to come.
Washington was with the crowd gathered outside Atlanta City Hall on Saturday afternoon. This group included representatives of Atlanta’s historically black colleges and universities, and started at the Atlanta University Center.
