North Point churches to halt Sunday services due to coronavirus

ATLANTA — Due to the coronavirus, North Point Ministries is asking its Atlanta-area congregations to stay home and instead tune in for their Sunday worship.

The network of churches, founded by pastor Andy Stanley, will not host services for the next three Sundays beginning March 15, Stanley said in an email to church-goers. Each church’s services will still be streamed online.

Here’s a list of North Point churches in the metro Atlanta area:

• Browns Bridge Church (Cumming)

• Buckhead Church

• Decatur City Church

• East Cobb Church

• Gwinnett Church

• North Point Community Church (Alpharetta)

• Southside Church (Henry County)

• Southside Church (Newnan)

• Southside Church (Peachtree City)

• Woodstock City Church
