ATLANTA — Though there were some flights delayed or canceled Sunday morning at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, it’s nothing like the number of impacted flights on Saturday.
On Sunday morning, the wait time to get through the security checkpoint was down to about 15 minutes.
That’s drastically less than the multiple hours it took travelers to clear that line on Saturday.

There were over 1,200 flight changes on Saturday at the airport.
As of 8 a.m. on Sunday, there were 26 cancellations and 79 delayed flights.
Channel 2′s Bryan Mims was at the airport Sunday and spoke with a traveler who had been stranded in Atlanta since Friday.
“As soon as we landed from an international flight, they kinda made us wait two hours on the tarmac. Then, just opened the doors. We had to wait on a line for six hours to go through security again just to leave the airport,” he said.
