One dead after early morning motorcycle crash on I-85 in Atlanta

ATLANTA — Atlanta police said a motorcycle rider is dead after an early morning crash on I-85 northbound near Cheshire Bridge Road.

Police said they were called to the highway just after 1 a.m. Saturday morning regarding a crash. When they arrived, officers said they found an unresponsive man lying dead on the highway, which was shut down for while the crash was investigated. They said the victims motorcycle was found against the retaining wall several feet ahead of where the victim was located.
