Woman hit and killed on Northside Drive, police say

ATLANTA — Police say a woman who was on foot was hit and killed by a vehicle on Northside Drive Monday.

The accident happened at 10th street and Northside Drive around 11 a.m.

Police said the driver stayed at the scene and no charges are anticipated.

The Accident Investigation Unit is on the scene. Traffic is backed up in the area.

The victim has not been identified.
