Mina Turabi with Voice of the People said this is a sad day and that “we live in America and if this is truly the greatest country in the world, that we must act like it. The Supreme Court today showed us, they’re not here to help us or be here for us.”
States will now decide if abortions will be allowed. Many are concerned on what Georgia will decide. “We live in a red state, regardless of the fact that we sent Jon Ossoff and Warnock to the Senate, we sent Joe Biden to the White House, this state house is very, very red. It is a deep red, deep conservative state,” said Turabi.

Turabi said, they will not stop speaking up for women. Their next move is to vote on this issue at the polls. “I think civil rights in general are on the ballot. When we’re talking about police brutality, we’re talking about abortion rights. Do I hope to see that there will be a change in the Governor’s house, yes.”
