BUCKHEAD, Ga. — Police were once again called out to a mansion in Buckhead known for its loud parties Saturday.

The home on Garmon Road has been at the center of a city ordinance controversy over huge bashes that are often held there. Police have responded to more than 100 complaint calls at the home in the past year.

Channel 2's Michael Seiden was at the home Saturday night as police broke up another gathering after someone complained about the noise.

Seiden spotted several Atlanta police officers roaming the property after neighbors complained about loud music coming from the backyard.

Atlanta police drove away with one man in the back of a patrol car.

Friends and family identified him as Tosin Oduwole, the owner of the home's nephew, who runs his family's estate.

Oduwole was charged with a noise violation and obstruction, police said.

Channel 2's Nicole Carr talked to Oduwole on Friday about a rapper's party that upset neighbors last weekend.

Odowole said he didn't authorize the large party thrown by rapper YFN Lucci and that the renter lied to him, claiming the house was going to be used for a smaller gathering.

"We are taking legal action, and I can assure my neighbors those events do not happn here every day," Oduwole said Friday.

Seiden talked to several guests leaving the home Saturday, who said the police response was overblown and they were stunned neighbors called the police.

"It was just a little get-together," one man said as he was leaving. "No social media. No buzz. No celebrities. Nothing."

Still, many residents in the Buckhead neighborhood are fed up. Some have taken their complaints to social media, where they have dedicated a Twitter page to stopping "Garmon Mansion house parties."

Oduwole's brother did not want to talk to Seiden on camera but said his brother will address the allegations as soon as he is released from jail.

This incident is the latest in a string of complaints tied to the property that date back to 2018. It’s sparked Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and City Councilman J.P. Matzigkeit to push new legislation tied to banning so-called party houses, something Oduwole denies operating.
