ATLANTA — Police are investigating a shooting outside a Buckhead bar strip that left two people injured.
Police responded to reports of a person shot around 3 a.m. Saturday at 3179 Peachtree Road.
Officers found one man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital. His name and condition were not released.
While at the scene, police learned a second man had also been shot and drove himself to the hospital. That victim’s name and condition have also not been released.
Investigators learned a third person who appeared to be involved may be the shooter.
The investigation is ongoing.

This latest shooting comes after numerous shootings in the area in the last year.
Channel 2′s Audrey Washington spoke to a local doctor who lives in Buckhead and says crime in the area is out of control.
“When you have Atlanta Police on Facebook saying, ‘Before you shoot somebody, you need to think about it,’ that shows you how out of control the situation is,” Jack Potter said. “So I don’t know what can be done.”
Buckhead is discussing becoming its own city to try to reduce crime. There is also a new program to increase bike patrols in the area.
