Police investigating homicide near South Atlanta High School

ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating after a male was found shot and killed near South Atlanta High School early Saturday morning.

Police were called to 800 Hutchens Road around 1:15 a.m. Saturday, where they found a person with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead by first responders.

Homicide detectives are investigating, but so far no details about the victim or any suspects have been released.
