ATLANTA — Police said a man trying to steal money from another man led to a shooting inside a southwest Atlanta CVS.
It happened inside the store in the 2400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW around 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
Channel 2′s Dave Huddleston spoke with police, who told him that one man asked another if he could use his phone while waiting in line inside the store.

That’s when police said the man who lent the phone noticed that the other man was trying to send himself money using a cash sharing app.
Investigators said the men got into a fight and the victim’s gun accidentally discharged.
“The victim did have a gun and at some point, the gun discharged and the victim was shot with the gun that appears discharged accidentally,” police told Huddleston.
