Atlanta police arrested a 24-year-old man who sped off away from an officer during a a traffic stop in midtown Atlanta.
Police say an officer tried to pull over the vehicle for making an improper U-turn.
During the chase the man lost control of his vehicle, crashing into a parked car and a power pole.
Surveillance video shows a car carrying a mom and her young child is rear ended.
Officers arrested the driver after a short foot chase.
Channel 2 Action News was there minutes after police found the driver, and arrested him near Sixth Street and Glendale Terrace.
The 24-year-old driver will be charged with felonies. He was injured in the crash and taken to Grady Hospital.
Police say the mother and child the driver rear-ended were not seriously hurt.
According to police, there were two other people in the fleeing car. Police say it's unlikely they'll be charged.
